This September, Gallery at the Park presents Voices in Color, featuring the work of Women Painters of Washington!
Voices in Color celebrates bold abstracts, luminous landscapes, and striking still lifes, exhibiting 27 women artists working in diverse mediums.
Women Painters of Washington was founded in 1930 by a group of six artists. They joined forces to create opportunities for artistic growth, nurture fellowship between members, and encourage creative expression for women. Since its founding, the organization has worked to improve community awareness of women artists, while providing opportunities to exhibit their work. There are currently 200 active members across the state of Washington.

The juror for Voices in Color is Laura Gable, whose award-winning portfolio includes landscapes, still lifes, and figurative works. Her oil paintings express incredible depth and layering, balanced composition, and visual poetry. Learn more about her work at lauragable.com.
