Joel Nunn-Sparks jumped in as the guest Arts Editor this month, and helped make this issue special by bringing in some wonderful, artistic creators who shared their art and poetry with the readership. Big shout-out.
We also premiered our new environmental coalition section headed up by Jenny Rieke called "Boots in the Basin"—which includes local events that anyone can attend, information about species native to our area, and more.
And of course, I have to mention that this issue marks one year since we started our journey with Alcon Media, LLC to bring you El Vuelo Informativo, the bilingual section of Tumbleweird! We are so grateful for the amazing response from the community for this initiative, and we plan to keep bringing news, resources, and more to our Spanish- and English-speaking readers!
