Award-winning Pacific Northwest artists on display

This August, Gallery at the Park continues its annual Juried Show, showcasing talented artists from across the region!

The 2024 juror, Liana Bennett, selected 61 pieces for the exhibition. Of these, she chose several to receive distinguished awards at the Reception and Awards Ceremony on July 12.

Tiffanie Andrews won the Mid-Columbia Watercolor Society Award for Lascaux Bison.

Shea White won the Nancy Messner Memorial Award for White Cup, Blue Chair.

Sandy Aronson won the Leland and D. Eleanor Burger Memorial Award for End of Season.

J.E. Hannum won the Merit Award for Geometric Expression of Color.

Deidre Holmberg won the Gallery’s first ever Sculpture/3D Award for Medicine Cabinet.

Juried Show Chair David Wyatt presented the Director’s Award, which went to Victoria Gravenslund for Raku Lidded Form.

LEFT TO RIGHT: Liana Bennett presented the Silver Award to Sharon Laegreid for Railroad Series: Iced, the Gold Award to Judith Dilley for Superstition Mountain Spirits, and the Best of Show Award to David Lake for Montana Wild.

Altogether, the awards amounted to more than $3,000!

The Juried Show is on display through August 16.

Gallery at the Park is at 89 Lee Boulevard in Richland and at galleryatthepark.org. The Gallery’s hours are Tuesday–Thursday, 12–4pm, and Friday and Saturday from 10am–5pm.
